Blues enter the lion's den

Blues travel to the new den tonight to face Millwall in the league cup 5th round.

Vital Quotes:

'When we had him at Leicester, he did not play much youth-team football because it was too easy,' Lee said. 'People say he can't score goals - but he can.

'He was one of our brightest stars of the future, and he has played for his country, so what more can you ask for?

'I thought he would be more prolific [when he left Leicester for Liverpool in 2000], but maybe some managers have asked him to do different things, which has perhaps affected his goalscoring ability.

'But his career flourished after Leicester. I know his background and his family, and I will have a word with him before the game.'

-Colin Lee on Emile Heskey

Millwall Team News:

Millwall will start with Lenny Pidgeley in goal after he agreed a seven-day emergency loan deal from Chelsea.

But defenders Matt Lawrence and Bruce Dyer are injured while on-loan Adrian Williams and Bruce Dyer are cup-tied.

Player to watch: Jermaine Wright

The loanee from leeds could prove to be a handful on the wing.

Blues Team News:

Blues may not risk David Dunn after he came off at Sunderland on saturday.

Also striker Walter Pandiani may get the chance for a start after a good performance from the bench on saturday.

Player to watch: Walter Pandiani

If he starts then there will be goals expected from 'El Rifle'.

Last Time . . .

Blues won with a last minute Stern John winner in the Playoff semi final in may 2002.
