Tuesday 25 March
Birmingham City will travel away to Millwall tomorrow in a bottom of the table clash.
Blues have been fighting for survival lately and the longer the struggle goes on the greater the fear and worry becomes for Lee Clark's side; who now sit in 20th.
Millwall are 5 points behind Birmingham, they themselves are not enjoying their campaign so far with just 32 points and a whopping -31 goal difference; having conceded 62 goals in 37 games.
Birmingham could move up a place provided Doncaster lose their game; they play high-flying Burnley.
Charlton are 5 points behind with 3 games in hand, Birmingham therefore cannot drop a place tomorrow.
Lee Clark has not seen his side return 3 points in just over a month (Blackpool). Millwall haven't had to wait quite as long but their form over the past 10 games is actually worse than Blues.
Lee Clark speaking after the Reading Defeat
'We have got to move forward, no one is going to help us. We`re the only ones who can do that. We have to go forward again'. - Birmingham Mail
Ian Holloway on his teams 'luck'
'What's annoying me is that I keep seeing things that are good but I am not sure whether I should keep saying 'that's unlucky' or 'keep doing that' because time's running out'. - News Shopper
Danny Shittu, Maierhofer(Doubt) are both recent losses for the Lions.
Ian Holloway is hoping Maierhofer will be fit for Blues and they will need to pay him attention as it obvious he will be the game plan.
Emyr Huws (doubtful), Hancox, Matt Green, Neil Eardley, Akwasi Asante all out.
Millwall ship goals and so we will need someone to score them, Macheda is my key player.
- Millwall have 1 win in 10
- Birmingham have 2 wins in 10
- Millwall have won just once in 15 away games
- Blues beat Millwall 4-0 back in October at St Andrews
Well Millwall are hopefully that little bit worse than Birmingham and I'll go for a 2-0 Blues. Be positive with me and vote in our match day poll! (see bottom right).
Blues take on Bournemouth next, they are 11th and have 4 wins this month.
If results go Blues way and they manage a win against Bournemouth then Birmingham could be as far as 17th!
