Clemence had Blues' first real chance when he was unmarked at the back post, controlled it unconventionally but only nudged the ball towards the line rather than Smash it.

Heskey's chance was a little harder and to be fair to him he did well to get it loop they way it did.

But when Upson hobbled off and useless Tebily was brought on(why not bring on Painter,he's a left sided centre half it would have been a straight swap) but no Mr Bruce once again proved he is a complete plonker.

Chelsea then scored two before half time.

Blues had Maik Taylor to thank for keeping the score at 2-0 in the later stages of the first half and the second.
