Oppositions View: Karl Robinson



MK Dons manager Karl Robinson was proud about the way his side performed against Birmingham City in the Carling Cup, even though he saw them go down 3-1.

Their travelling fans were also noisy and cheered their team on after Blues put together a first half six minute salvo that would have dampened the hearts of any supporter.

Robinson said: 'I'm proud of the team, the fans and our Football Club; I think we can all be proud of each other tonight.

'I'm not going to be too critical of a very good Premier League team, but I thought that, other than a five minute spell in the first half, we dominated large parts of the game against a very good team.

'They played with an awful lot of freedom tonight, a lot of enjoyment and a lot of passion. Okay, we went three-nil down, but they didn't let the fans down. We've all got so much passion for this Football Club and that's good to see.'
