'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Gaffers View: Villa away (0-0)

It wasn`t the most exciting game you will ever see, but Blues boss Alex McLeish was pleased with the point his side gained after the draw with Aston Villa.

The boss believes that if either of the two sides were to have won the game it should have been Birmingham as they had the better chances.

He told the clubs official website: 'I thought we were the better team and we had the better chances in the game.

'I didn't think it was a boring 0-0.

'We were just lacking that little bit of quality in the final third that would have made the difference.

'I was very pleased with the overall performances of the players and I was proud of the total commitment and discipline they showed.

'We proved today, as we did in the last game at Villa Park, that we have moved much closer to them.

'Nobody likes to go on a losing streak and it is a little bit of a relief that we got something from the game because a point was the least we deserved.'

It was a crap game but Blues were the better of two sides who did not want to lose

You were the better of the two sides? LOL you didn't have one clear chance at goal and we had much more of the play, played the better football...I'll give it to you, you parked the bus well and kept a good shape but with a good striker in our ranks we would of easily won 2 or 3 nil.

Yep, we were far better......... I can smell crap, have you been eating crap? Oh no, you're just talking out of your fat arse

With a striker we would have sent you to the slaughterhouse like we do every year, you have got nothing on us and we are superior in every way, players, manaer, ground, fans you have nothing to brag about and even wolves and albion are better than you now.

If ifs and ands were pots and pans etc, etc

Don't vile fans talk complete and utter bowlocks, they must be getting worried about something, like an FS Cup tie thats looming
