'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Steve Kean Says His Side Should Have Won

Blackburn boss Steve Kean saw Birmingham City take a point from Ewood Park and admitted that his side should have beaten Blues and take a major step towards Premier League safety.

Junior Hoilett was again Blackburn`s rescuer as he levelled the score after Lee Bowyer had put the visitors in front.

But neither side could take what few chances there were in the second half and Kean said: 'I wanted to take a big leap today but we're taking little steps and we just have to keep chipping away.

'If all the teams around you pick up wins and you only get a point you're massively disappointed.

'But today we're probably a little bit better off than when we started.'
