'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Oppositions View - Eddie Howe - Burnley

Burnley boss Eddie Howe must have been in a very frustrated mood when he left Turf Moor last night.

It`s fair to say that Burnley matched Blues but did not get the breaks, especially in the second half when the home side looked a lot stronger than they did in the first.

Blues had settled down with an early goal to calm things and they could have had more in the first period, but in the second half things were a little different.

Both Ings and Austin rattled the woodwork before they managed to pull level with a goal from Ings, leaving the Blues fans feeling a little uneasy. But they needn`t have worried as they were back in front two minutes later.

And when Murphy added the third two minutes before the end, it just added salt to the wounds.

Howe told reporters: 'The scoreline doesn't look good, but it was a very good second-half performance.

'I thought when we equalised we were going to go on and win the game. We've said that a few times this season.

'The momentum was all with us and we've conceded a really poor second goal.

'It's very tough when you work so hard to get back in a game and you conceded straight away."

I thought it was a fair result. we played well and deserved the bit of luck that we did get, we were a much better side than they looked
