Clark: Bang Average At Best

Clark: Bang Average At Best
The manager was clearly disappointed with the result but had some calming words for any negative nellys out there.

Speaking to the official site, Clark said:

There was lots of positive things with the ball but without the ball we were bang average at best. So that's massive that we get that sorted within the next 10 days, for sure, because that won't be acceptable, that won't get us a result against Watford

We did get ourselves back in the game but then you gave another two, bang average, goals away. A straight ball over the top and then a poor decision for the third goal, and then for someone to get that amount of space to turn on the edge of the box is crazy

Clark said it was a worthwhile exercise, and I agree. Blues on the ball, did well, some central play didn't work, but nothing will always work. Off the ball, the team were poor and switched off; maybe that is being they were in friendly mode. Clark gave an honest assessment of the performance, so we can only assume he'll be working to put it right.
