Clark: 'We got what we deserved'

Clark: 'We got what we deserved'
Another game and once again it ends in disappointment for Blues fans, just as well there was only 400 or so to witness the latest debacle at Turf Moor.

Manager Lee Clark looked like a man getting towards the end of his tether when he spoke about the frustration and disappointment he felt after seeing his side make it five games without a win.

The Blues boss knew it was the end when, after going a goal down within three minutes, they let in another just seconds into the second half and if there was any slim hope of the lads coming back from a goal down, it was all gone when number two went in.

Clark told Sky Sports: 'Frustration's a feeling you have when you think you deserve to get something from a game.

'Probably the word (I would use) is disappointing because we got what we deserved.

'We didn't play well enough in every aspect of the game. When you lose goals so quickly in each half it becomes a problem.

'It's by far and away our most disappointing performance of the season. I take the full responsibility, I'm the leader of the group and I take responsibility for it. We go and push ourselves forward, dust ourselves down and get ready for Saturday.'

If there is anyone there to see it on Saturday.

And go the rest of the season without a manager? Who else would do the job at this shambles of a club? Clark might not be everyone's cup of tea but he is doing his best and has nothing to work with. We need a new owner, there is where the rot lies, and Pannu removing as well.

I just have to work a few more shifts and I'll have 80million, will that be enough to buy them out and get a player or two?
