Carling Cup Quarter Final

Carling Cup Quarter Final

A day to remember for all Birmingham City fans. The Blues were drawn at home against Aston Villa in the Carling Cup quarter final.

Birmingham would go on to win at Wembley that year, a victorious win over Arsenal that has gone down in history.

It has been some time since any kind of excitement on this level has been anywhere near St Andrews. However with Blues on the up towards the end of last season maybe Rowett can mastermind some kind of occasion in the next few years.

Rowett is clearly a very determined and talented young manager. It is now for us all to watch and support to see just how far the club can go with his guidance.

Watch below as Blues toppled Aston Villa 2-1 at St Andrews in front of a full house.
