140 Years of Birmingham City

140 Years of Birmingham City

A football club is so often an early memory for most of it's supporters. Taken to the ground at a young age, more often than not the colours you wear were passed down to you from above.

Birmingham City's colours have been passing through families for generations, 140 years worth of generations. There have been some lows during my life time, various relegation plagued campaign, the frustrations of losing players and of course most recently the turmoil with Carson Yeung and Pannu.

My grandfather always told me, Birmingham City don't do things the easy way, and oh how that has rang true over the years.

But on the whole, my entire experience with the club has been brilliant. From standing, sitting or a bit of both in the freeing cold, to those precious victories that no one thought were coming. The Carling Cup victory felt like it was a decade in the making, after the heart break of Cardiff.

It is also well worth remembering Birmingham were one of the unbeatable teams of the 09/10 season!

So whether you're a Bluenose of 50 years or just 5, there is something for everyone in the latest video from the club.
